Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to images you upload, colorized results you create, and your use or distribution of those results. It supplements our Terms of Service.
Use artwork you are allowed to process
Submit only images that you own or have permission to process. Do not use the service to infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Colorization does not grant new rights in a manga page, character, or other work. You are responsible for any publication or distribution of a result.
Content standards and prohibited categories
Do not upload for processing, generate through colorization, share, or otherwise use the service to facilitate any of the following:
- Pornography and NSFW content. Pornographic or sexually explicit material, graphic nudity, fetish content, sexual services, non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexualized depictions and suggestive adult content. Do not use colorization to make a person or character appear nude or sexualized.
- Violence and graphic harm. Graphic gore, torture, sexual violence, threats of violence, or content that promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or serious physical harm.
- Hate speech and discrimination. Content that attacks, dehumanizes, threatens, or encourages hostility or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic.
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation. Any sexualized depiction of a minor, child sexual abuse material, grooming, or other content that exploits or endangers children, including fictional, illustrated, or AI-altered depictions. We treat this category as a priority for immediate restriction and, where required, reporting to the appropriate authorities.
- Deceptive impersonation and non-consensual likeness use. Misleading altered images, impersonation, fraud, harassment, or use of a person's likeness without permission in a way that deceives or harms them. Do not falsely imply endorsement by a creator, rights holder, or publisher.
- Rights violations and unlawful content. Copyright or trademark infringement, unauthorized disclosure of private information, or other content that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
These rules apply whether the prohibited material appears in the original upload, the requested colorization, or the result you distribute.
Protect the website and its providers
Do not attempt unauthorized access, probe or exploit vulnerabilities, send malware, bypass access or usage limits, overload the service with automated requests, interfere with other users, or use the site to disrupt Replicate or another provider. Do not submit files that are not supported images or deliberately mislabel a file's type.
AI processing and your responsibility
The editor sends an image to Replicate only after you request colorization. You must comply with any applicable provider rules. AI output can contain mistakes or unexpected changes to line art, text, or characters. Review it before you share it or use it in a project. See the Privacy Policy for information about image handling.
Content moderation, reporting, and enforcement
AI Manga Colorizer does not operate a public image gallery or manually inspect every upload before processing. The site operator's support team reviews reports and suspected abuse. To report content or an account, email support@ai-manga-colorizer.online with the relevant page or prediction link (if available), the time, the prohibited category, and a brief description. Do not email illegal imagery or sensitive personal information; we may ask for additional information through an appropriate channel if needed.
We aim to acknowledge a report within 2 business days and make an initial assessment within 5 business days. Reports involving child exploitation, credible threats, or other imminent harm are prioritized as soon as they are received. More complex cases may take longer; we will provide an update when reasonably possible. These are response targets, not a guarantee that every case will be fully resolved within that period.
The support team assesses the report against this AUP using the information supplied, available service records, and any content still accessible to us or our processing provider. Input and output links may expire, so a report may require additional evidence. Depending on the findings and severity, we may reject or stop processing, restrict or suspend an account, remove content we control, preserve relevant records where lawful, or refer serious or illegal activity to the appropriate authorities. Repeated or severe violations may result in permanent loss of access. We do not control copies of results that users have already downloaded or published elsewhere.
If you believe we made an enforcement mistake, reply to the support email with the case details. The site operator will review the appeal, including any new information, and respond as soon as reasonably possible. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above shows the latest revision.
